About:
Jim has been in the insurance claims industry for over 35 years with a comprehensive background of handling multi-line claims from initial loss/coverage analysis and investigation to settlement resolution. Jim also has experience handling all phases of litigation management and mediation functions.
Experience:
Jim began his claims career at Merchants Insurance in an adjuster/supervisory capacity. For nearly 7 years, he served as the supervisor of a ten person auto claims unit. Jim then spent over 20 years with Utica National Insurance as a Senior Claims Specialist handling all phases of multi-line claims. Jim held a Casualty Claims Specialist position with Main Street America Insurance in a multi-line claims capacity for 5 years. Most recently, Jim has joined the Lawleys Claims team in Buffalo as a Claim Manager.

Honors:
Jim was an Arbitrator for the Insurance Industry for 20 years and was honored by Arbitration Forums– Arbitrator of the Year.
Community and Pro Bono:
Jim is deeply involved in his community as a Little League Baseball/Softball coach and boys/girls basketball coach in the Amherst Youth Basketball program.
