Heidi serves as a benefits professional at Lawley and concentrates on employee benefits plans, benefits design and administration.

Experience:

With over 18 years of comprehensive benefits and human resources experience, Heidi began as a human resources professional for Staff Builders Inc. prior to Canon USA. From these experiences, Heidi was able to gain generalist knowledge in recruitment, onboarding and benefits administration. After relocating to Putnam County, NY in 1999, Heidi made the switch to the broker side.

She began her career in the insurance industry as a Benefit Specialist for the Group and Financial Services Division. Heidi’s responsibilities included new business, market analysis, cost comparison for all health and welfare plans pertaining to the small group market. In 2001, Heidi assisted in the start up of MAC Creative Plan Solutions in Mahopac, NY for 11 years. Heidi became a licensed health and life broker and oversaw the account management of several key accounts. In 2012, Heidi made the move to Corporate Care International Inc. as Benefits Consultant and Manager of Group Accounts, where her focus was primarily on the large group market. While at CCI, Heidi oversaw the administration of both fully insured and self insured group health plans. Heidi became involved in marketing and negotiations, open enrollment meetings, formalization of plans and plan documents as well as creation of employee and employer benefit portals.
