As an insurance advisor, Pat works primarily in Lawley’s Real Estate practice group
focusing on affordable housing development.

Pat provides creative insurance products and risk management techniques to developers, builders, and owners of multifamily housing projects. He analyzes their current portfolios and helps to create a tailored insurance program that maximizes coverage and minimizes risk.

Experience:

Pat is licensed to practice law in New York and Illinois and serves as Lawley’s in-house counsel. While working in private practice, Pat counseled insurer and policyholder clients on an array of insurance and extra-contractual bad faith issues. He provided in-depth analysis of various liability and first-party property coverage policies, including business general liability, business property, professional liability, cyber liability, business auto, homeowners, and
builder’s risk.

Pat has a New York State Brokers License and is a member of the Claims Litigation and Management Alliance (CLM).

He earned his bachelors from Canisius College, a Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University College of Law.

Pat received CALI Awards for Excellence in Civil Litigation Strategy and Trial Advocacy II.

Community and Pro Bono:

Outside of Lawley, Pat volunteers to give free legal advice to elderly and low-income clients of Prairie State Legal Services and is a member of Next Generation United of United Way.
