Nancy has 35+ years of experience managing claims and human capital. She has extensive knowledge of workers’ compensation claims and helps educate clients on preventing accidents and illnesses, compliance with regulatory entities, implementation of transitional duty programs, settlement initiatives, and claims mitigation strategies.

Experience:

Nancy worked at CIGNA for 5 years in New York as a claims adjuster and supervisor, for Sedgwick (and Sedgwick James) for 10 years in New York, Florida, and California, as an operations manager and implementation specialist for Corvel for 5 years, and as a National Auditor for NextEra Energy in Florida as their internal workers’ compensation expert. She’s also been in the employee benefits arena for 5 years, where she worked with emergency operations for storm restorations – as they are the largest electricity provider in the state.

She also has experience in national program design as well as state-specific expertise in NY and several other jurisdictions. To round out her experience, she also worked in human resources, doing benefit design and open enrollment, HIPAA compliance, pharmacy benefits vendor selection, and employee wellness programs.
