About:

As the learning & development manager, Shannon specializes in
leadership development, property and casualty insurance, and project management.

Experience:

With 10+ years of experience, Shannon leads associate coaching, development, and education at Lawley, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. She collaborates with senior managers to implement career development tracks and coaching resources.

Shannon enforces education policies, delivers assessment tools, and coordinates seminars,
lunch-and-learns, and in-house education programs.

Accreditations:

Shannon holds a NYS Property & Casualty License and several certifications, including Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Scrum Master. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Canisius University and is a member of the Buffalo and National chapters of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) Society.

Community and Pro Bono:

Shannon is heavily involved in the community as a member of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce, the Elmwood Village Association, and serves on the Communication & Development committee for GLYS of WNY, an organization providing a safe and positive environment for LGBTQ+ youth. She also supports the Buffalo AKG Art Museum and Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) Buffalo.
