Due to an internal promotion, Lawley is adding a commercial insurance certificate processor to provide administrative support for our commercial insurance associates! This position would be responsible for assisting in the processing certificates of insurance and evidences of property insurance, reviewing contract specifications and lender requirements against policy coverages, and escalating compliance gaps. The ideal candidate would have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role with commercial insurance and a P&C license or willingness to pursue in the first 90 days. Fundamental Components of the Job:

• Provide support to Commercial team in processing Certificates of Insurance and Evidences of Property Insurance
• Review and analyze insurance requirements provided from our clients against policy coverages including but not limited to: contract specifications and lender requirements.
• Escalate identified compliance gaps to Commercial Insurance Account Manager
• Follow agency standards, with regard to best practices/Errors & Omissions protection relative to Certificate/Evidence issuance

Other functions of the job:
• Identify potential cross-sell, up-sell, and account rounding opportunities during compliance review process
• Promote and support electronic distribution of Certificates and Evidences
• Expand and grow in your role when supporting miscellaneous duties as requested

Skills/Traits That We Value for This Role:

• At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, commercial insurance experience required
• Willingness to pursue Property/Casualty license (all lines) in first 90 days
• Ability to work well independently and on a team
• Incredible attention to detail and organizational skills
• Open to continuing education, college degree preferred
• Positive attitude, even in a fast-paced environment

The compensation range for this position takes many factors into consideration including but not limited to: years of experience/training, skill set, and licenses/designations. It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range for a position as circumstances and location can vary in every hiring situation. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $43,642.50 to $72,737.50.
