Karen has over 39 years experience in the insurance industry working for various independent agencies in WNY. In 1995, Karen was cofounder of Niagara Insurance Group, which was sold to Brown & Brown in 2004. Following the sale, she worked for a few companies in a customer service role, before starting with First Niagara Risk Management, [now known as USI Buffalo] in 2007 as an Account Executive, followed by a Producer. Over the course of Karen’s career, her experience has been in the business insurance arena. Karen has held many positions including Account Manager, Marketer, Marketing Manager, Commercial Lines Manager and as stated above, Account Executive, Producer and Agency Owner.

Karen currently is a Board Member of the Mental Health Association of Erie County and Literacy of WNY Tutor Volunteer. She is also an active alumni member of UB’s School of Management CEL Core program.
In the past, she has been a Sisters Hospital Foundation Board Member, WNY Women’s Foundation Committee Member and Hamburg Bulldog Booster Club Board Member.
