As Director of Mergers and Benefit Operations, Leah specializes in leadership, financial services, employee benefits, and relationship management.

Experience:

With 15+ years of experience, Leah plays a pivotal role in coordinating Merger & Acquisition (M&A) activities and providing strategic and operational leadership for the Employee Benefits (EB) division. As a member of the executive committee, Leah offers critical oversight and communication on both M&A and EB matters to senior leadership.

She collaborates with principals, partners, and the Executive Committee to align operational strategies with M&A initiatives. Leah functions as a project and financial manager, overseeing the daily operations of the Medicare Insurance, wealth management, technology solutions, and benefits marketing teams, to ensure compliance, efficiency, and employee productivity. She also manages relationships with benefit vendors and supports budget planning and forecasting to drive organizational success.

Leah’s previous role at Lawley was Employee Benefits Business Manager. She also brings expertise and experience from prior roles in banking and financial planning.

Accreditations:

Leah is a Benefits Disability Specialist (GBDS), a Project Management Professional (PMP),
and holds a Life, Accident, & Health license.

Education:

Leah holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Canisius University and a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Brockport.

Community and Pro Bono:

Leah is involved in the community through WNY Junior Achievement, a nonprofit that prepares youth for success, and Toastmasters International, a nonprofit that helps individuals develop communication and leadership skills. She is also a 2015 graduate of Leadership Buffalo, a program that fosters community-minded leadership.
