With 10+ years of experience, Mike designs and implements creative insurance and risk management strategies that help organizations lower costs, close exposure gaps, and reduce claims. As the leader of Lawley’s Healthcare Practice Group, Mike and his team leverage their deep understanding of the healthcare industry’s unique risks to provide innovative solutions for physician groups, hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities.

Mike specializes in medical malpractice insurance, with a focus on creating customized programs that address the complex legal landscape of healthcare. His solutions include self-insurance and alternative risk financing, supported by data analysis and benchmarking to optimize coverage and minimize costs. As partner, Mike works closely with clients to identify their risks and develop creative, effective insurance strategies that align with their goals. With extensive industry experience and market knowledge, Mike ensures that his clients are equipped with the most effective and cost-efficient insurance programs.

Experience:

Prior to joining Lawley, Mike served as an AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteer at the Homeless Alliance of WNY, where he assisted in creating Buffalo’s 10 year plan to end homelessness.

Mike is a Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS).

Education:

Mike earned his bachelor of science degree from Canisius University.
