Mike has been in the insurance industry since 2003. As an Associate Partner, Mike has an integral role in the expansion of sales and community relations in the Rochester market as well as primary oversight of the sales and service teams. In addition, Mike facilitates and implements strategic initiatives in the Rochester area market. His vast business experience coupled with his expertise in health care enable him to deliver quality, attentive service and unique benefit solutions. As a former business owner, Mike has extensive knowledge in strategic planning with an emphasis in creating cost effective health care solutions for companies throughout Upstate New York.

Experience:

Mike has nearly 15 years of experience in the insurance industry and specializes in alternate funding arrangements including healthcare captives, self-insurance and private exchanges. Mike helps his clients by developing health management programs to mitigate risks and control benefit costs. Prior to joining Lawley Benefits Group, he owned an employee benefits consulting company and managed more than 150 large corporate accounts for Excellus BlueCross BlueShield.

Mike leads one of several industry specific focus groups within Lawley. His group solely concentrates on ways to better serve non-profit organizations.

Mike has spoken at numerous seminars and has been featured on local radio shows sharing his industry expertise. He is a freelance writer for Benefits Selling Magazine and for an online human resource website.

Community and Pro Bono:

Mike serves on the Board of Directors for the Small Business Council in Rochester. Mike is actively involved with Penfield Little League and the Webster Jr. Warriors/Jr. Titans.
