With 20+ years of expertise, Scott leads the underwriting team on all initiatives, focusing on client retention and growth. He serves as a liaison between carriers and third-party administrators and oversees all underwriting training and development opportunities. Prior to Lawley, Scott was a director of sales and marketing, an agency management specialist, an insurance agent, and an underwriter.

Accreditations:

Scott holds an Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU) designation
and is an Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI).

Education:

He earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Canisius University.

Community and Pro Bono:

Scott is involved with the Insurance Club of Buffalo, where he served as the President for several years. He also volunteers with the Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity, and participates in the Ride for Roswell benefiting Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer.
