small business insurance, and customer service.
Experience:
With 40+ years of insurance experience, Sherry manages an exceptional experience for internal and external customers in the Business Insurance/Property & Casualty division. Sherry has been with Lawley for 30+ years and leads initiatives related to client experience, talent development, performance management and client-centric/common sense processes. She proactively works with the business insurance team to plan for business needs and ensure team efficiency across Lawley’s footprint.
Accreditations:
Sherry is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), and holds a Federation of NY Insurance Professional Certification (FIPC).
Industry Affiliations:
Sherry is a member of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of NY (IIABNY) and the Professional Insurance Agents of NY (PIANY). She was a former board member of the Independent Insurance Agents Association of Western New York (IIAAWNY), past President of the Federation of New York Insurance Professionals (FNYIP), and two-time past Board President of the Insurance Club of Buffalo (ICOB). She participates in Agents Councils for technology, agent experience and client experience for multiple insurance carriers.
Honors:
Sherry was recognized by Insurance Business America on their “Elite Women in Insurance” list in 2018 and awarded Insurance Professional of the Year by the New York Federation of Insurance Professionals in 2015. She was previously named Outstanding
Customer Service Representative of the Year for New York.
