About:

T.J. Revelas is the Partner of Lawley Employee Benefits. He played an integral role in the formation of the Benefits division in December 1999. T.J. oversees the strategic direction, sets goals, and develops market strategies to further advance the firm.

T.J. is known to be a visionary who consistently prioritizes culture and staff development by encouraging individual team members to always be their best selves. It’s very important to T.J. that the benefits team understand the defining characteristics of the organization, the strengths of the team, and the values that have molded the future direction of Lawley Employee Benefits.

Experience:

With 30+ years of experience in the benefits and finance industry, T.J. consults with employers on a wide-range of employee benefit issues to deliver thoughtful strategic planning, critical data for decision making, and customized solutions. T.J.’s expertise includes aligning benefits goals with strategic initiatives, plan audit and analysis, and working with employers through the complexities and challenges of employee benefits. T.J.’s goal is to provide employers with a sound strategy to build a highly effective benefits program.

Prior to joining Lawley in 1999, T.J. worked with Northwestern Mutual & Guardian Life in the area of business succession and estate planning before creating his own employee benefits company, TJR Benefits, Inc. T.J. received his Bachelor of Science degree from Niagara University and holds his New York State Life, Accident and Health license.

Community and Pro Bono:

He is a Board Trustee for Explore & More Children’s Museum and actively involved in Cornerstone Manor, a place that helps restore hope and change lives by providing education and skill training. In addition, T.J. created and managed a very successful fundraising event that benefitted Horizon Health Services.
