We strive to be the partner of choice for customers, insurance carriers and employees looking for long-term relationships built on a foundation of trust.
With application fees waived, new members are encouraged to apply to see if they can save money on group-purchased health insurance programs.
With the COVID-19 pandemic ravaging business efforts in WNY and beyond, Lawley and the Healthy Manufacturers of New York State (HMNYS) have teamed up to financially assist manufacturers by waiving application fees to the group.
HMNYS is a specialized health insurance program specifically designed for manufacturers. With Lawley as the employee benefits broker, they can help A+ rated manufacturers with over 101 full-time equivalent employees purchase health insurance efficiently. This can strategize manufacturer budgets while saving thousands of dollars for employers and employees.
Due to COVID-19, and to help manufacturers apply to the group, the $1,200 member application fee to receive a proposal to join HMNYS is being waived. By joining the consortium, manufacturers will have greater purchasing power as a collective buying group for expenses like health insurance. The current members buy health insurance together to save money and create a healthy environment for happier employees.
“We’re here to help manufacturers,” says John Cureo, Associate Partner at Lawley. Cureo is the lead employee benefits consultant for the manufacturing group, working with HMNYS for over a decade. “Health insurance is no joke – there are compliance issues and it comes at a huge cost for employers. That’s why we’re determined to get manufacturers in HMNYS the best coverage, along with an integrated wellness program, to keep their employees happy and ensure business keeps moving forward in New York.”
“Our group is managed by the members,” says Ben Harp, President of HMNYS. “Our members see a great benefit by buying health insurance together. And, with COVID-19, it is more important to watch your bottom line. HMNYS can help you do that. With the fee waived, there is no reason not to apply to become a member of the group. We’re encouraging all innovative manufacturers across New York to apply as soon as possible.”
The application fee for HMNYS will be waived until the end of the first quarter in 2021. Any questions about the group or their current members can be directed to John Cureo at Lawley via his contact information: 716.849.8273 | jcureo@lawleyinsurance.com
