Due to recent growth / acquisitions, we are adding this support role to our Buffalo office, and can be hybrid once training is successfully completed. Fundamental Components of the Job:

• Support the entire Lawley Retirement Advisors team with processing of documents, internal requests, and data entry
• Preparing plan review documents and plan review presentations for client meetings
• Provide administrative support, including electronic mail, documents, spreadsheets and scheduling for the Lawley Retirement Advisors team
• Submit any necessary paperwork to providers and follow-up on requests for information as needed

Other functions of the job:
• Embrace all training opportunities to learn the retirement business
• Expand and grow in your role when supporting miscellaneous duties as requested

Skills/Traits That We Value for This Role:

• At least one-year experience in an office setting
• Interest in acquiring knowledge of retirement products; retirement/wealth management documents and usages are a plus
• MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency are a must!
• High School diploma required
• Ability to work well independently and on a team
• Incredible attention to detail, organizational skills, communication skills, and strong time management capabilities
• Open to continuing education, including but not limited to a Life Accident & Health license and Series 65 license
• Positive attitude, even in a fast-paced environment
• A passion to make customers and coworkers feel important and valued
• Precise communication skills, even under time constraints
• A desire to pursue a career in the insurance industry

The compensation range for this position takes many factors into consideration including but not limited to: years of experience/training, skill set, and licenses/designations. It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range for a position as circumstances and location can vary in every hiring situation. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $33,000 to $55,000.
