Lawley Brings Actuarial Expert on Board to Lead Benefits Underwriting Team
Beth Mercer Joins Lawley, Bringing 14+ Years of Employee Benefits Experience
Lawley is proud to announce that their employee benefits division has added Beth Mercer to their growing team of in-house underwriting and financial analysis consultants.
Mercer has been tasked with overseeing Lawley’s underwriting department. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary with experience in benefits consulting. She brings her actuarial and benefits industry knowledge to her current role as Underwriting and Financial Analysis Manager.
Mercer has extensive experience working for actuarial benefits consulting companies. She began the first 3 years of her career working at Willis Towers Watson as a pension actuarial analyst. Then, Mercer spent 11 years working as a health actuary at Cheiron. Beth has worked with self-funded and fully-insured clients as well as an array of employers in different industries. Mercer received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Drexel University.
