As a family-run organization, one of our five core values is being a strong Community Partner in the neighborhoods we work and live in. Over the years, our organization has donated our time talent and treasure to not-for-profit organizations and charities that have similar missions that align with our values. We are proud to support the groups that are so vital to our cities across New York and New Jersey.

Which is why we support grassroots efforts like #GivingTuesday, a campaign mostly spread on social media to offset the materialistic “holidays” of “Black Friday” and “Cyber Monday” with awareness for the needs of charities during the holiday season.

One of our associates in our Buffalo office was asked about this awareness campaign from WGRZ, the local NBC Affiliate. Shannon Sommer, an Underwriter for Lawley Benefits Group, was featured at 1:31 of the video below talking about her involvement with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Erie County.
