Lawley Onboards New Manager in Employee Benefits Division at Buffalo Headquarters
Lawley is proud to announce their employee benefits division has added Kathleen Armstrong to their growing team of professionals. Adding Armstrong to the team further cements Lawley’s employee benefits expertise in WNY, rounding out the team to more than 100 benefit associates.
Armstrong is responsible for overseeing an account executive team in the Western New York area. Her vast management experience will provide the team with strong coaching and leadership to meet service goals. In addition, Armstrong’s knowledge and experience will be utilized to build lasting business relationships and partnerships with clients while working with her service team to create robust compensation packages that fit the needs of Lawley clients and their employees.
With nearly 15 years in the employee benefits industry and nearly 20 years overall in business in Western and Central NY, Armstrong fully understands the dynamics surrounding small and large business in the WNY community. Most recently, she was Vice President and broker at USI, a national insurance brokerage. Prior to that, Kathleen was in leadership as an Assistant Vice President at Evans Bank. She also held positions at the Evans Agency for several years where she brokered and managed small and large clients. Armstrong has a Master’s in Integrated Marketing from St. Bonaventure University and a Bachelor’s in Communication Studies from Canisius College.
Armstrong is proud to be affiliated with Leadership Buffalo as a graduate of the 2014 class. She is also an Executive Board Member at Harmonia Collaborative Care and spends her time volunteering for several local Buffalo organizations, including Matt Urban Hope Center and Junior Achievement.
