(December 20, 2016) – Lawley, one of the largest independent insurance brokers in the United States according to Business Insurance, was recently recognized by the same publication as a “2016 Best Places to Work in Insurance” company, capturing the second overall ranking in the medium employer category (250 – 999 U.S. employees). This is the first year Lawley has entered this program. Earlier this year, Lawley was also recognized as a Best Places to Work in Buffalo Business First’s Extra-Large category.

The survey conducted by independent research firm Best Companies Group and presented by Business Insurance, highlighted the fact that Lawley’s workers value the firm’s culture of work/life balance and employee appreciation. The 2016 report features 75 companies of various sizes, from 27 employees to more than 6,000. These companies have a common commitment to attracting, developing and retaining great talent through a combination of benefits and other programs that their employees value.
