BUFFALO, N.Y. (May 11, 2022) | Lawley, an independent family-owned insurance broker and employee benefits firm, is proud to announce the promotion of Andy Pascarella to Sales Practice Leader for both Lawley’s Jamestown and Dunkirk offices, which serve NY’s Southern Tier region.

Pascarella has been in the insurance and employee benefits industry since 2008. He collaborates with companies and organizations to develop long-term strategies, resulting in cost effective employee benefit alternatives and operational efficiencies.

“Andy’s operations background and experience managing Third-Party Administrator (TPA) relationships gives him the experience and expertise to positively affect our clients’ operational efficiencies,” said Chuck Allesi, Partner of Lawley Employee Benefits. “For the past 10 years Andy has been in consulting and sales for Lawley Employee Benefits. Pascarella has helped companies from various industries navigate the Affordable Care Act by assisting with the creation of internal compliance processes to relieve the ACA administrative burden while allowing them to stay compliant. Along with operational efficiencies, he also provides clients with the tools, education and ongoing consultation to meet each group’s benefit goals and objectives.

Pascarella’s employee benefits industry expertise in alternative funding (including self-funding and captives) and latest industry trends allows him to bring a high level of consultative services and effective cost-control initiatives to employers. He was an early adopter of the private benefits exchange and benefits technology platforms and spearheaded bringing these solutions to his clients.

Pascarella maintains his New York State Life, Accident & Health License and New York State Broker’s License. He is also a member of the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from Alfred University and an M.B.A from the State University of New York at Buffalo

Pascarella continues his dedication to the community by serving on the Kids Escaping Drugs Golf Committee. He is also a board member of Cattaraugus Community ActionYMCA of Twin Tiers and the JCC Foundation.
